They are, this one I have is fantastic. The fit & action on it is outstanding. The sunlight really helps bring out the richness & details of the bone.

That being the case, if this LF&C barehead jack was made during their last year, it would be five years older than me. By the way, this knife possesses perfect W&T. The handles are of some sort of black synthetic but hasn’t shrunk like many of the Imperial with “shrinky-dink” handles I own. OH

I'm 75, and I have several knives that are older than me. Here are a couple old Barlows. A Schrade & a Kutmaster.

And here's a Case that, according to the tang stamp, was manufactured sometime between 1940 & 1964, but I can't be sure it's older than me.
