Who has a Super Blue Endura 4 on the way?

I've had mine for several weeks now and love it! I thinned out the bevel and its a machine.

I am still trying to find somewhere that has them in stock without having to sell a kidney for it. I couldn't buy one when they hit the stores. I am looking forward to the Stretch though.

Very nice photo. Congrats on a high quality cutting tool. I'm sure you will love the ability to separate matter easily and efficiently. :p

Thank you sir! a really great local retailer here in Toronto (does not seem to be on BF) had about ten last week, and on Sunday they had 3 left and out of that 2 were on hold...so i immediately went and picked up the last one... although....shipping down to where you are may have added to their price....
Best with your search!

Is it just me or do the FRN scales look like a blue-ish grey? Are the scales the same as the grey FRN non-SB E4?

To my eye, they are slightly bluish gray. They are different from the gray FRN on the FFG Endura/Delicas, and different from the Foliage Green FRN. I guess it's fitting since it's Super Blue steel :D

I agree with you that it is a great match to the SB steel. I really like how Spyderco varies the FRN colors slightly. Another good example of this is the blue-ish black Emerson opener D4s and E4s which look black until you put it side by side with an actual black FRN Spydie.

In case anyone is wondering what the color difference is between the SB "dove gray" FRN and regular gray FRN, I took this side-by-side photo at SFO yesterday

Thanks for the side by side K1W1. Initially I'd hoped for a darker gray, but after a couple months of EDC'ing the SB Endura, I've grown to really like the bluish/gray FRN.

I just ordered one from knifeoutlet. I've never dealt with them before, but hopefully I'll see it the first of next week. I already love the SB Delica.

I got the SB Endura and have a SB Stretch on pre-order. I haven't carried an Endura in a good while and forgot how much I liked the blade profile. I passed on the SB Delica because I already had SB Caly 3's in the same size range. I'll probably go for the Dragonfly and Ladybug versions.
