Who has been here the longest?

IIRC, BFC opened Oct 98, I joined Nov 98.

who was actually the first of those who are still here to post anything about INFI?? That is an interesting question. I am going to do a search. brb

grnamin is the winner. He was the first of the busse fans to post on bladeforums about busse, not including moderators of course. So he wins:thumbup:

I think you are right, although (and I hope to not offend here) I have not heard of him before. But yes, he does post here regularly and just had a birthday (Happy belated!). That's ok that I don't recognize the nick--he has a fairly low post count and kids can be...distracting sometimes.:D

No, we all win.

Congratulations to GRNAMIN for helping start this crazy community.

Cobalt -- thrown any INFI lately?

Offend, who really cares anyway. Actually, Myself, Cliff, Aubrey, Bald1, Jim March and many others were on the pre-bladeforums discussing all this stuff, so we predate this forum, we are the ancients. hehe Heck, I remember when Mike Turber came out with the letter from Jerry about INFI and posted it on one of the forums somewhere. I remember reading that. I lurked more back then, since I did not have time to post much. Andre has probably been around a long time as well, much longer than his join date I bet. And you know what we have learned by being around longer....nothing. It's fun to go back and remember how ignorant I was, and still am....

If I had known that a 1 of 300 would be worth a fortune these days, I would have bought 50 of them. But then I would not want to sell any:eek:

Mike, didn't rec.knives actually precede Knifeforums? That's going waaay back.

The Way I remember it, it was tough to get people to look for knives instead of getting what I had readily for sale.

I remember telling people that my knives were "For Sale, Not On Sale"

And yes the car drives Nice, thank you very much.

In the early days, if some one was in a hurry And had the means, I all to often could be talked out of an otherwise unavailable knife or two for some unreasonable amount of Filthy Lucer, and back then people were glad to buy whatever old knives I had laying around.

Some of these folks want me to start selling the older knives again, seems there is still a market for the knives I tend to buy.

I got in in 1999, I started keeping notes about the same time.

Remember, it is not what you know, but what you have documented and can prove.

Who has the most Busse's?

No one will ever say.

But...if you want to start a campaign to influence Congress...we might be able to design an orbital system to map out the largest concentration of INFI.

Other than Wauseon, OH and Skunk's place, that is!

Another former KF-er here, too. Started here in October `98 like a few others. Spent many dollars since. ;)

I'm still thrashing on an early shSH from back when Jerry nearly blew his hand off. I was on the waiting list while he healed up and got back to grinding. Over the years I've had a few other Busses, a Stealth Hawk, a couple of Basics, a DW Mean Street, an Assault Shaker, and a Skeleton Key, but they eventually went away. I'm holding onto a couple of GWs (tan and tiger) and an AD, though, with no plans on letting them go.

There you go again....you science guys are always trying to get Congressional earmarks for some pet project or another.
