I'm having fun with my Fiskars hatchet, and am now thinking about one of the bigger Fiskars axes. I don't carry an axe, and I rarely need one. For the amount of use I'll get, and the price, the Fiskars might just work. Anyone have or used one?

I have two large size Fiskars. One is a full size head on a medium length handle and the other is the full size. Both are great performers and have never let me down. Found em both at Sears and at decent prices too :)

I have had a medium sized fiskars axe for awhile now and i'm satisfied with it. Its very light and chops like a dream. A liitle bit more expensive than your average axe but a definite buy if your looking for a quality tool.

I have the large splitting axe, and it's great. I've been heating with wood exclusively for the last four years, so it has seen some use (although I have bought a HUGE hydraulic log splitter in the meantime). A friend has the GB splitting hammer, and it's even nicer - but for the money you can't go wrong with a Fiskars.

i have the small hatchet and the bigger axe. i really like them both but find the larger one more user friendly. i agree that you cant go wrong with a fiskars.
