Who Has Had Formal Edged Weapons/firearms Instruction.....sound Off

hey all, i'm new to this forum...the discussion here looks to be good! I have had formal edged weapons training in Kali, and I've fenced at Penn State. This has been a great combo for me, personally. I've never had firearms training, but i've been speaking with Master James Keating about learning from him.

Real life situations-without the old war stories, I have been in multiple shootings-all with successful resolution, been present during numerous shootings, had two full boat attetmpts made to disarm me of my pistol during violent encounters, hundreds of fights, been ambushed with gunfire, and multiple edged weapon encounters-these were all as a police officer. Off duty I have been engaged in a couple very violent incidents as well. This is why I have a full page, single spaced resumee of training courses. When you put yourself at the tip of the spear, you better be training to deal with threats. I have met CJ on a few occaisions, and the reason he has garnered the respect from a lot of the real world players, is because he has such a good grasp of how to relate training to what really happens in "the jungle".
