Ok I have a Broken Skull coming and want to know who has put one to hard use and what do you think? Any cutting test and hard use reviews would be appreciated. Also what is your favorite color?? Thank You!
Kevin

I put an orange version through nasty yardwork with sand and cutting roots and yard tasks. Did fine steel held a good edge after i had sharpened it a few times to get to the good steel. No reviews or pics as im too lazy and too busy to do that typically.

I like the grey the best.

Great, anyone else hard used a Broken Skull and have a favorite color? Thank You! Kevin 😊👍

I have beat the hell out of my Lone Star Hunter and it has handled it well. It has metal handles instead of the plastic but I have no doubts that the broken skull will be awesome also. Once the money is right I will be getting an orange Broken Skull.

I haven't put the Broken Skull to any hard use yet, but I've used it and I'm pretty sure it will hold its own. It won't replace the Recons or even the Voyagers, but it will slough off any work that a linerless G-10 knife reasonably can be expected to take. Linerless polymer-handled knives won't be able to touch its performance, especially since most have shorter blades.

My favorite color is the blue-handled model, but I carry the gray.

i was out in the yard again over the weekend cutting up some nasty vines and such with it, more for fun than getting all the work done as i use a machete for the bulk of the work. got some real nasty plant residue on the coating and it won't come off, gonna have to up the ante from soap and water to a solvent of some kind.

enjoy your new one....

Glad You went blue today. After carrying mine all day it would be easy to forget you have it clipped on!!
I will be carrying this knife some more when I want to clip a knife on. 👍 Kevin

i dont' do pics much but in honor of using it....i cleaned it up real good, but im gonna have to attack that nastiness on the blade with some sort of solvent as soap and warm water was a no go.....

Anyone else been using their Broken Skull lately. Here is mine with my other edc 👍👍 Kevin

Has anyone cut some dirty cardboard? Did it wear smoothly or micro-chip? I couldn't see to well from the pictures. I am hoping it is in the middle of AUS8a and ELMAX as far as wear pattern. It would be great to confirm how it wears but it is such a nice thin grind, re-sharpening isn't going to be a big an issue as deciding what color to get. Merry Christmas everyone.
