Who has more than one of the same model Esee's?

I dont and probably will never own2 or more of the same ESEE's
I have an Izula, HEST, ESEE 3, RC 4, RC 5 and the JUNGLAS.

The Junglas goes with me on every outing and i rotate the rest of them through the month. One week its the ESEE 3 and the Junglas, the next is the RC 4 and the JUNGLAS..etc.

I have a HEST folder on order and have been considering the purchase of an ESEE 6 just to throw in the rotation.

But if i were ever to buy multiples of any model it would be the 3 or the 4. All of my blades are users. I am by no means a collector.
 
Right now, I only have multiples of the Izula and AH-1 (if that counts). I also have a 3 and a 6. A 4 is next on the list.
 
I don't see a real reason for two of them. I would only use one, and these shouldn't be kept as safe queens. I could see different ones if you wanted the different patterns, however. As well as possibly 2(3) Izulas.

The ESEE-3 is my favorite. I have 5 of them :eek: 1 plain edge mil, 1 rat pack, 1 plain edge pointed pommel, 1 serrated pointed pommel, and one of the plain edge SWAT special edition 3's. I know...but I really love this knife :D I also have 3 izulas. black, tan and green. :thumbup:

I have used all but the SWAT knife. I will probably use that at some point too though.
 
four ESEE3's two Izulas are the multiples they all have there uses one Izula is the wife's,
my Izula everywhere,a 3 for work,a three for play,a 3 for dress,and a 3 for church!
 
I don't have any multiples as of yet but if they each have legitimate uses I would have no problem picking them up. I don't have any intention of buying two or three of the same knife just to "have" unless its a special collectors edition or something. I just don't see the value of collecting a production knife.
 
I too have a bunch of multiples. 5 3's (all different colors/patterns/markings), 5 Izulas (all the colors plus the Sig), 3 HESTs (user, proto, and RP#), and two 4's (one convex ground and one with the factory grind). I use at least one of each but the rest are eye candy or for future trades. All the other models I have one of each and consider them users even if I don't get a chance to use them often.
 
I've got 2 izzy's, three 3's, and two 6's.

I stash the izzy's and the 3's ALL over. I want a few more izulas, and one or two more threes. Easier to just keep them in the car, on the pack, at the property, etc. Than to keep hauling a go bag around each place.

The 6's were basically accidental. I got a RAT pack, and hadda get a second 6 or 5. I love my five, but the 6 is just too practical. I used to give the second to my girlfriend on hikes, but she's fallen in love with my 4. I also have a second lite machete that she's stolen outright. She packs the lite and her(my) 4, and shakes her head at the shit I take. I still maintain that the splitting axe, 19 inch wetterlings, 30" bowsaw, lite machete, 3, 6, and SAK were all totally needed for a 4 mile overnight. :)
 
2 Izulas (want at least one more, but it is for either my wife or daughter... then maybe yet another for the other female), 1 HEST (I list it because my next purchase is going to be a second HEST), 2 ESEE-3 (one MIL-CP, one green/orange with pointed pommel; want one more ESEE-3MIL), 3 ESEE-4's (that's enough, got those covered... although the ESEE-4CP sometimes calls out to me late in the night).

I have found a brand of knife that I really like. I was like that about Benchmade, and have a boat-load of those. I've bought stuff before that I really liked, and when I finally wore it out, or broke it, or lost it, it wasn't available to buy anymore. So now I buy multiples of stuff that I like.

I'm kinda like that about certain guns, too. Like Glocks and Ruger Single-Actions. But that's another subject.
 
You'll find a lot of folks with duplicates.
I don't have any, but I would get a duplicate of my RC3 before using that one and I fall under the 'obsessive' category. I love that knife and have never even used it, I would get another so I have at least one in showcase condition for as long as possible, hehe
 
i own 3 izzys. black,tan and od green. the wife owns 2. pink w/black cord wrapped handle and black with pink cord wrapped handle. all 3 of mine have micarta scales.
 
Hey Guys,

Long time lurker here, just registered today. Finding this board a few months ago led me to purchase my first ESEE, an RC-4, which is awesome. I also have an Izula on order, and now this thread is making me think I should have just ordered two or three right off the bat. The only knife I've had multiples of so far was the Svord peasant knife. I ordered six when I found out about them b/c I thought they were such a tremendous value and this way I could stash them in multiple places (car, BOB, shop, etc...) and maybe give a couple away to friends. Well, within about two weeks I was down to one as everyone who saw mine had to have one. Not gonna happen with my ESEE's though, they'll have to buy their own!
