I find myself in need of a semi-large piece of pink handle material. 2" wide. The actual material is less important than the color of pink. It is not even necessary that it be entirely pink - maybe something with random striations.
Regardless, anyone here have a source recommendation?

That is a nice knife johnnym, my wife had me buy pink from both Alpha and USA Knifemaker to make a knife for he and her mom.

How about a piece of Pink Ivory wood. I've never used but I hear it works and polishes just like Afr. Blackwood. You can get it at Cookwoods and Gilmerwoods. Just google em and they'll pop up.

Maybe find a nice piece of tulipwood........stripes of pink and cream color, it is quite hard and smells nice when you cut it.......and it's all natural it that appeals to you. I have a piece I could send you but it is only 1.5" wide by 1 inch thick.

Karl, exoticwood.biz has blocks and excellent representative photos. I have used PIW before and the photos on their web looks exactly as the wood I have used. Hope this helps.

I've read that pink ivory needs to be protected against UV to keep the pink(or red) colour.
