From what I have heard, that would take an act of Congress, evidently there is this little thing about not being allowed to photograph with in the borders of the US or something.

NASA has this peculiar concept -- they keep the Hubble pointed AWAY from the earth.

I could ask ... but they use the wrong sorts of cameras. Good idea in general, though!
