Who offers the best, most comprehensive catalog of currently available knives?
I like to see photos with specs. Primarily interested in fighting knives and tactical folders.
 
some time ago (last year i believe) i bought a piece from knifecenter.com and they sent a nice printed catalog. 1/2 in thick and packed with pics. mostly mainstream stuff, but nice to thumb through.

www.knifecenter.com is definitely the way to go. Even when I'm looking for info and pics of knife companies that don't have web pages, knifecenter's got them.

There may be better, but the best mail order catalog I've come across is KNIVES PLUS. Call them at 1-800-687-6202, and they will send you a cat. for free. They have a very large selection of production blades and their cat. has good illustrations and specs of all the blades, throughout. Their prices are OK, and they are nice folks with great service, too.

Cutlery Shoppe is good, but they are more expensive, and don't have such a big selection. They do however have nice full color photos of the knives they sell.

Web based, KNIFECENTER is definitely the biggest, but is also a bit more expensive than other web based retailers.

Although I have Internet access only for a few hours per month, my favourite site is arizonacustomknives.com

Good selection and nice pictures - but mostly custom knives I will never be able to buy.

Hansen, don't be misled by the Cutlery Shoppe's catalog. They stock lots more than they show there. Call them and they can usually get you what you want, even some customs.
