Who has weird, strange and/or embarrassing names in their family?

A friend of mine is forever laughing about some of my relative's names :o (most are now deceased).
They are as follows:

Dwynell (Great Uncle)
Julian (Great Aunt/Dwynell's Wife)
Wavie (Cousin)
Zellen (Cousin)
Johnette and Lovette (Cousins/Dwynell's Granddaughters)
Ula (Great Aunt)
RV (Dwynell's brother)
Bomer (Great Uncle and Zellen's Father)
Maybelle and Mozelle (Cousins/no relation to Dwynell)

Now I know I'm not the only one so let's hear them and don't hold back. ;)

Thats funny my wife calls me Skip, and had a buddy named Richard Head,
and at this very time I have a pool guy named Mike Hunt..

I had two uncles that were never called anything other than Duck and Shine. Nobody ever used their real names.

Mom's name was Gladys. She was glad ass & happy heine in school.

We had a May Fay Hockaday & she caught hell in highschool .

Uncle [ you can call me Ray or you can call me Jay but....] Alan
 
My Grandmother on my mom's side was named Dovey, and her sister was named Addie. Those names sound like they're straight out of Little House on the Prairie.
 
Had an Axel on my Dad's side, and my wife had a Magnus on her Dad's side. I thought both would be great names if I ever have a son... she doesn't agree. :grumpy:

Went to HS with a girl named April Flowers. There is a local newscaster named Dick Johnson.

Of course, Rugby is always good for nicknames... I never knew the real names of alot of guys. Examples: Snackbar, Cabbage-head, T-bag, Skeletor, Hemo, Ram-Bob, Surf-Nazi, Bocephus, Brain-dead, Gizmo, Rico-suave, Nick the bastard, and of course... Crazy-legs.
 
Well, I'm a Toyota (no relation to the car people). First name is Kyle, but before I was going to be named that, someone had the great idea to name me Rusty. So I'm Kyle now, but some of my family still calls me Rusty.

I never even catch on until a few years ago. :rolleyes:

My son is gonna be Rusty though. :D

Edit: I forgot about the Kawasaki's, I get 2 cousins from that family. Cuz we supa automotive kine das why!!!!. :yawn: :p :confused: :footinmou :confused: :grumpy:

Magnus and Axel are normal names in Scandinavia; as are Magnusson and Axelsson as surnames.(means son of Magnus and son of Axel)

My Surname coincidentally is Abitchesson :D

My Great-Great G Mother was called "Gullie the Dove" She was a native American.

My favorite Aunt was called Addie
My favorite Uncle is called Tatom Manteeth

The name of most of the people I decended from where Pickleseimers :)
 
I had a cousin Anise. I always pronounced it "A Neice" but everybody else pronounced it Anus :rolleyes:
 
Had a friend who's name was Michael Jackson. :) He's a white guy and we call him Fred.

Lola Nadine

I'm thankful I wasn't named after any of them. :)

Also knew about some twins named Thunder and Lightning. You can guess why.

I'm also thankful that I wasn't born during a tornado or other natural event. Who would want a name like Mudslide? :D
