Just wondering how many of you pay attention to the sheeple. Like in the morning you pick up a knife and then decide not to take it because someone may make some smart ass comment. Or you have a knife you love but are scared to take in fear of the looks you will get. Personally i have decided the sheeple can go screw themselves, as long as what im taking is legal and i carry it in accordince with local laws then i dont see what the problem is. If anyone says anything I simply explain that what im carrying is legal and if they have a problem with it then its them that has a problem not me. Actually im usualy pretty rude to anyone that makes a rude comment. IMO if you give in to the sheeple then you are letting them win. and sooner or later we will all be stuck with laws that are so restrictive you wont be able to take a SAK with you. Whats you opinions on this? Thanks for taking time to read this guys! :D

control over you. If you live you life by the views of other's then who is really running your life?

To tell ya the truth, I never really pay much attention to them. I ,for the most part, only pull out my knife to use it and then put it back in my pocket. No one has ever mentioned anything to me except for an occasional "Nice knife!". I always carry a folder with at least a 3" blade. Not scary to most folks. Wouldn't pay much attention if it scared them or not. Just my way I guess.

Im lucky, I can carry anything I want to work( no one else around hehe). But when I do go out, I really dont think about it, sometimes I carry a in the waistband fixed blade, tactical folders etc. Basically as long as its legal, ill carry it. Fortunatley I live in a state with carry laws that make sense.

Mr Marlowe, your one of the lucky ones. Living in NYC, I HAVE to think about it a little. Even if a particular knife is legal, if it is scary looking I'm going to end up attracting the wrong kind of attention, i.e. the law. This isn't really about fear, but paranoia, it is a slight difference, but kind of important. Fact is, no one trusts anyone else in the big city. Generally I carry something that isn't to visually aggressive for my utility blade, and carry what ever the hell I want for my SD blade.

I don't carry a fixed blade because of the sheeple but fixed blades may also be illegal in chic.

Of coase I kind of like flipping out my 710 as I watch for the  .

I always want to come up with an answer to Chuck's quote:
Balisongs -- because it don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing!

Something like:
Folders -- because if it don't got that flip then your a bip!

Well you get the idea. Maybe you guys can come up with something that resembles a coherent thought. :D

If it's legal, I don't care what I carry. I've never been one to care what most people think. I will every once in awhile use my Chive because it gets less of a reaction, but I like using the Chive so that doesn't really count.

I'll admit it. I do consider social circumstances as I reach into my safebox (7-year-old-son-proof) and pick a knife for the day. I'm around clients and coworkers all day. Why chance surprising or offending a client, even a little? Same thing with coworkers, though there isn't a risk of losing company revenue.

Typical day around the office: Chive in my pocket and Opinel 10cm Cherry Slimline in the pen cup to cut fruit.

Typical day when I expect to be out of the office: Opinel 8cm Bubinga Slimline in my pocket gives me 3+" capacity in a package that is very unintimidating.

Away from clients and coworkers I add an Opinel #9 and BM750 to the rotation.

I carry a Cold Steel Vaquero Grande, a Spyderco (Massad) Ayoob, and a Spyderco Chinook...Do you REALLY think I give a damn what "sheeple" think???.:D.

We don't have any sheeple in South Dakota.
Lots of cows but no sheeple :D

Nope! I carry two full size knives and a smaller one. If i carry for the sheeple, i would likely carry only the samll one

I could give 2 sh!ts about what people say about my knives. In fact, nobody really says anything about 'em. When I let someone borrow a knife, they usually use it and say "wow, that's a nice knife!". Other than that, I don't get too many comments.

Today I was carrying an emerson commander, an al mar sere 2000, and a greco companion. I leave my shirt tail untucked so nobody saw anything. Even if they did I wouldn't really care - in the great state of Texas, anything with a blade length of 5.5" or less is legal!! Folder or fixed! 5.5" is plenty of blade for me.

I don't carry fixed blades, but in a folder I'll carry anything that I like. Sheeple don't bother me...they hardly ever see my blades anyway. I carry the larger folders too..like the AFCK, Police or CQC7...

and the people who know me...know me as a 'knife guy' so they don't pay too much attention to it...

Yes I don't carry FBs because of sheeple. I did got a bus driver got all nuts to me and attempted to refuse service because a friend gave me something that looks remotely a knife but not even sharpened at all. He keep calling the knife illegal because of some imaginary 6" laws of his (no such thing in Canada at all).
Because of the incident, I choose to carry a Frost Mora to make a statement and probably would use it.
Before I do carry the Spydie Endura and either the CRKT KFF or Lightfoot. I carry the lightfoot more because it looks better.
Yes I do consider public opinion.

Well, color me stupid, but it seems to be that both the people who aranged thier habits around society and those who refuse to bend to the whims of the populous seem to have a choice between the 2 paths.

That frees as all from worrying that your ravenous sheeple have control over us at all. Whew, glad we won the control over ourselves from the evil uneducated farm-animal people.

Me, some days I do, some days I dont...doesnt follow any rules or patterns, I just do it to make sure I am excersising my free will. This viewpoint is of course totally insane and I recomend it to no one.

Have a nice day and stop calling people names like in elementary school kids...or I'll tell yer mum.

Since I carry concealed, I don't see the issue. Besides, if the public could see what I carry, I would guess that my .45 ACP would catch their attention first.
