Who here plays paintball?

It's always crazy to watch the pro team that plays at the park I go to, the amount the paint they go through is insane

I used to play a lot, started 1990 and played tournaments until year 2000. Had my own company manufacturing high end custom Autocockers and have for example played classic tournaments like the Mayhem Worldcup (England), Worldcup (Orlando, USA), Hyperball Championship (Birmingham, England) and the Millennium Series (various European countries). Tournament ball was loads of fun, really miss the action and traveling with my teammates. Today I spend most of my spare time fishing, making my own fishing lures and collecting knives... guess Im getting old :)

Well as far as getting old, I am 51 and I still play, altho, I will admit, not as much or as hard as I used to. I have a scenario field, 43 acres, woodsball, and a little hyperball. I have had most markers out there, but, I play Pump only now. Here are a coupla the guns that I currently use.

As an owner of a field, I can run it anyway that I want. I run it like I would like to play. No cheating. If I catch cheaters, they get one chance to do the right thing, if they fail, then they leave. Period. The field is not what supports my family, I have a regular job that does that.

Thanks Cricket, these are the ones that I play with the most. I play with the pumps all the time, not just up against other pumps. I find that pump play makes you think more, not just pour paint. Or, at least, it makes me think more. If I dont out think the other guy, then it is a short game for me.

Sick pumps!
CCM makes some amazing stuff!

I could never get into pump, but if I did, I'd like some of the things that you have!

The ref on the last game I played shot for whoever's team got to center/50 first, he had a custom pump, he was FAST! He could shoot faster than most of us with Tippman 98 Customs. The thing was accurate too, could pop a person in the facemask at 50 yards

I played woodsball for about 6~7 yrs straight, every other weekend ! Had about 20~25 of us that got together all the time...but after I changed jobs I lost what free time I had so I sold all my gear - Tippmann 98 custom w/ 32deg. nightstick barrel, I had 2-20oz tanks, 3- 9oz tanks, 1- 12oz tank, Spectra mask with thermal amber lens & fan, I also had my own C02 fill station & I rented a tank & kept it filled so I could take it to the field where we played & keep everyones tank filled. I recently tried to get back into it & traded a nice custom knife for a couple of Paintball guns, I had a BT4 Combat w/18" barrel but I only got to play one time in a year so I gave up & sold it to :( Oh well....It was alot of fun !

Done some woodsball, but primarily an airsofter. Prefer to have mags and blowback and all that. Also, no bolties in paintball. RAP4 needs to get on that.

Why (how) would I cheat?
And yes, I do play speedball, but I enjoy woodsball as well?

I bought the SP1 and modified to it mechanical specifically for woodsball.

Please don't assume I cheat or play unfairly just because of the gear I own.

i'm not assuming anything lol, its a joke.
Every time we (the guys i play with) play with speed ballers on woods ball or Urban fields (best fields ever), we get destroyed by guys wasting paint on us, so we always called it cheating since it wasn't a fair fight with us using tippman 98's

Heh, I don't waste paint. Usually a hopper (standard Tippman 98) will last me a few rounds, unless I'm defending a large barricade.
I go for head, chest, and nutshots. :D
Really though, if I can't get a good clear shot at the head or main body mass, I don't take the shot.

I used to but lost intrest in it(and had no time to keep playing :/ ) I had a red and gold EGO7, dye rotor, and ninja tank. I also had a 98custom and a spider but sold those too.
