  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Who is a Fan of Bronze?

Don't mean to derail, but I say do it. Scatter guns look hawt in burnt bronze. I got my hog hammer (Rem. 11/87) done in burnt bronze. Real nice and an eye grabber while still being subdued enough for hunting.

It is a difficult coating to get a good picture of because the color varies so much in different lighting conditions. I think that in person the coating looks great, and I love it on my TGLB.

No worries Bro. Tribals were the thing in my younger days. And for the record , my tat is on my arm. No tramp stamps here.

Im guilty of a Celtic band on my arm, without a drop of Irish blood in me,, I thought it was a dragon but I get a lot of "is that a dog?"...I think the "no regrets" only applies to Busse knives unfortunately:D

I agree, depending on the lighting or exposure photos can look very different and is hard to get an accurate picture of. It is sort of semi reflective, kinda metallic looking if you will.

I have a Regulator and 311 with the bronze coating. I think it looks great. Much better in person than pictures. Haven't used either one so I can't comment on the durability.

I'm new to Busse/Kin collecting or using but I picked up 3 of them in as many weeks( I'm hooked ) and one was a NMSFNO in Bronze.
As much as I don't care for coated blades I ended up with all of the first 3 being coated and I like the bronze the best. I can see the underlying black at the edge and can't wait to see how it looks as it wears in after a few camping trips, I'm mostly keeping it in the safe for now because my Wife is sick of me running around the house yelling "This is Sparta"😀.
The coating makes me think of ancient blades and even though the Greeks were long past bronze that movie pops into my thoughts everytime-kids think its funny-Wife,not so much.
Pics don't do it justice but it's really nice. A few of my buddy's have seen it and every single one has commented on how nice they think the color is. Although I thought it looked rough in pics and intended to strip it when I got it I've become quite fond of it. Since the Bronze coated knives generally go for less money and it looks good too I hope that they keep making them.

Only get to live once. I am sticking with"No Regrets".
