It was, as usual epic....... Terrill and Roxy are truly fine hosts and the Chestnut Mountain Proving Ground is one of the loveliest of God's projects....... There are up to a dozen fires around which like minded souls gather and share food, friendship and copious amounts of unadulterated, guaranteed 100% true stories! there is a lot of gear talk, knife talk, etc..... I saw tiny, delicate amounts of beverage alcohol consumed...... Damn, it was a GOOD time......Perfect weather, and exceptional company, grand fires ....... Fellowship is an often overused word but, I cannot think of a better one to describe the experience....... Trade once observed that outdoors types tend to be really good people and some of the very goodest show up every the spring at PWYP.......

Ps........ If you do not like scrubbing the fire black off your cooking utensils, I recently found a very lazy way to clean that crap off.... Soak the pots in OxyClean for three hours and WIPE it all off with a paper towel......Freaking magic I tell you, freaking Magic...... E
 
He failed the mushroom identification class again. Some are thinking he may be better at it than he lets on. Thanks for shining a light on that by the way, I almost had it blocked. :thumbup:
 
Hey Murph.......

All those things you heard in the Corps about SF ?........Maybe they were true.......LOL.....LMAO...... It was TRULY an incredibly ugly and unfortunate moment......... Dave is a lot of things, some of them positive BUT, he ain't pretty !!!!!!!....
