I get this nastygram out of the blue... any comments guys? I wonder what I did to him...

I don't know anything about your case but I got a weird email asking me about a ballistic knife which I've never owned and wondered where he got my name... Went back through the 'automatic' forum and the guy had brought back a topic I had posted to like 18 months ago and had evidently emailed each person involved in that post.?? At first I thought someone was out there selling 'spam' lists but turns out it was just something from a long time ago.

Could be he hit your addy button at the bottom of someone else's comment in a post thinking he would reply to 'them'. I've done that before.

Hope you figure it out but they sound like an ass either way so it probably isn't even worth the energy to try.

I often get mail from people who don't mention their forum names so I don't know who they are, and often it comes without any context so I don't know what they're responding to either. If the message is something like, "Good post!" I write back and ask them which post they're talking about and ask whether they use another name on the forums. Some of them are lurkers. One message telling me I'd been writing a lot of good posts "on the forum" lately, especially "that post today" ... turned out to be the moderator of one of the many forums I post on, and one of the several I had posted on that day ... who thought his email program was appending a sig with his name to all his messages.

With mail like that one, though, I don't ask.

Look on the bright side ... apparently you're only one of a whole bunch of ****ing idiots, and probably no more ignorant than most of the members ... if you were it seems reasonable to assume he would have said....

never seen the guy before....maybe he is the king of the ****ing cyberidiot clan and is looking for new followers!.....ignore him and go on with your life unless he starts to harrass you with furthur idiograms and cyperpottymouth messages....if he continues put him on block and drive him crazy....feverdoc

At first I thought that copfish's email may have been an indication that pammo13's daddy gave him back his computer privileges, but upon further reflection it's apparent that this character's grammar is far too refined.
