I hope to see MANY of you guys in Las Vegas... Be sure to stop by the Bladeart table.. Simonich, Blackwood, Blair and I will be there also... Should have some beers for ya if Rob dont drink em all:D See you guys there!!!

BTW, is there any online list of who will be there and where they will be?

Also, we need to have some sort of "tag" to indicate we are from Bladeforums! Maybe a secret handshake! haha :D

I'm hoping I can, its up to my other half. If it was a gun show, no problem we'd be there in an instant, but knives aren't his forta. So Do any you guys have a suggestion about what I can do to persuede(blackmail) him into it? and yes I know what types of thoughts are running thru the guy's minds - So just keep ya'lls minds outta the gutter- afterall that would be way to obivious. thanks

I believe there is a gun show at Cashman field the same weekend as the knife show. I am not sure if it is a Claude Hall Gun Show or not . That should give him a reason to bring you now !

Edit to add : LadyColt..yup there is a Gun Show...Cashman Field the same weekend as the knife show. check out http://okcgs.com/ for show info . You can download and print out a $2 off coupon for the show which helps as they burn you $3 for parking.

There's a gun range that rents full-auto firearms :D That's gun related!

See you guys there. The secret handshake thing sounds good but, a few of us can't use STEALTH mode anymore as we walk by :D

A name tag or something might be good. It's nice to put a screen name to a face, plus I like the comments like "You're Sid Post? I thought you would be much bigger" :) .

Shame I can't try that range out...21 and over only...:(

I've never been to a knife show before. Do they issue passes? If so, we should write our nicks on there. Otherwise, we should all get those "Hi! My Name Is" tags with our nicks on them.

"Hi! My Name Is im2smrt4u" rofl!

well I am not sure on this but I can check , but if you are coming with a parent you may be able to still fire a full auto subgun.
There are 3 places I know of that you can rent a full auto subgun or a regular ol handgun to shoot on their range.
The Gun Store on Trop and Eastern , fairly close to the strip and the end up with most of the tourist traffic. Great place to check out. American Shooters on Spring Mountain and Arville , still fairly close to the strip .Discount Firearms in Henderson...Nevada residents who buy a firearm in Henderson , NV do not have a mandatory waiting period. By the gun , they call in the background check and if it is clear you walk with the firearm ! :D
There are at least 4 other gun shops to check out in town that are decent. Bills Buy N Sell , Accuracy , Survival Store and Center Mass Firearms .
See plenty to do in Vegas....if the show was a week earlier there would be a Vintage Rifle shoot and a Subgun Match going on .:D

Well, that still doesn't help...I'm coming with friends and my parents will be going elsewhere that weekend...:(

How about a simple avery label on your shirt...

half inch letters "BF"
and in quarter inch letters underneath your posting name...

Thanks Guys for the info on the gun show. I mentioned it to him,but he just shrugged it off, so I don't know if we are going to go or not.

Steven, are you sure your last name isn't Post? :D I bet there are a half dozen people at least who are middle aged that could provide adult supervision. Knifemakers and KnifeKnutts seem to be attracted to things like that plus, it'll probably be cheaper for most of us then the other options on the strip so, we will have money left over the next day of the knife buying binge - gotta have that steel fix almost daily after all!:)

Hmmm...I'm willing to be adopted for a weekend. ;)

What are the dates?

Probably won't make this year, but I'm definitely thinking about next year.
