I'm wondering about knives that have fish (usually koi) on them. I remember seeing a microtech knife with koi once, but I cannot remember which one that is. I'm interested in any knives with fish on them. :cat::cat::cat::cat:

SAK Fisherman has a fish on it. It's the only one that comes to mind offhand.

If you want, ah, lesser expensive knives, there are plenty of cheapies with fish and wildlife type scenes. As in Frost cutlery.

I have seen a few nice knives with bone handles that had fish scrimshaw on them, Kershaw, Gerber, barlow, and Sam McDowell come to mind.

search out the Fish Barlow on the traditionals forum section....waiting for one myself and one of the better deals in a custom folder , 1095 blade

Abel fly fishing reels sell a knife with trout pattern handles. Good knives but a bit pricey. Look them up at Abel Reels under fishing tools. Buck did the same type of thing years ago but I haven't seen one in years. Shrade also had a scrimshaw type handle with bass on it.

MCUSTA makes a few special editions that have them inlaid in the handle.

I believe Buck makes (or made) a 2 blade trapper type knife with a fish shield, and a "fishhook" style bail. I want to say Bill Dance was the sponsoring celebrity, but am probably wrong.
I do not recall if the Rapalla filet knives have a fish burned or engraved onto the wood handle.
I think some of the Frost Ocee River series has a fish.

William Henry makes the most beautiful Koi patterns! Check out the B12 Koi or the Monarch! The best part is, they are very affordable!!!;)

Piranha Knives have piranhas on some of them. You could also get a Koi pocket-clip from Steel Flame accessories.

Chris Reeve Sebenza "The Catch" is Right up your alley, if you are ok with a largemouth bass.

Not that I want the competition for one but...

I remember the knife from last year, it wasn't bill dance, but I can't remember who it was.
( I just remember it's Bill lowen )
As far as fish knives, have you heard of then sunfish pattern ( called an elephant toe in other countries ) they usually have fish shields.
There's also what used to be called the fish n fin, it's a large toothpick with a scale/hook remover on it and they often have fish shields.
There's also a buck 110 with the Christian icthus shield on it.
And there are also keychain knives from the novelty knife company that are shaped like bass.

Being in Alaska, I've done a fair amount of fish engraving. :D

Rather than limit yourself to factory fish themed knives, you could pick out a Ti handled knife you like and have a custom shop like me or others here do a simple engraving of your favorite fish image and or text. Here is a quick rendering of a fish themed handle......

This one in particular fits a ZT 0562 and is a full Ti handle:
