Every folder with brass pivots that I've every owned felt more solid to me. I'd like to know which production knives have these, if any.
thanks.

Brass is really too soft for pivots, at least on high quality locking knives. If you open and close it alot, your hardened steel blade will eat a brass pivot in no time.

As handle rivets, brass can be quite useful; it's very easy to form. Just look at Swamp Rat knives, Busse basics and a whole pile of other knives. The brass lanyard hole works great because it's relatively soft and you can flare it easily.

I don't know... Help me out folks!!!!
Seriously, I've noticed a couple people brass or bronze or whatever helps keep the blade centered vs. Teflons. Capishe?

I know the Strider models have them I had one myself, but I got rid of it. Models, anyone?
