Who likes Badgers

old school does look good. i have never seen a baddger in person but from the pics old school looks great.

Yep, the SHBA is the PINNACLE of Busse design in a small blade!!

Of course, this is just one piglets opinion, and YMMV! ;)

I just hope they come out with the BA Tac next.

My reserve unit is scheduled to get called up in June next year, and I figure if they go to the BATac after the FBM I'll get it right before I head out for the few months spin-up we get before we leave CONUS. ;)

Blasphemy! You can not improve perfection.
:D

Agree, between the SHBA and the BAE I'm not sure which is a better design but both are damn cool .

Maybe a Badger with a fusion handle.  ;) :foot:

I could not have said this better.

I prefer the SF handle to the fusion and think it would be a better fit size wise.
The Fusion handle is much to big for a mid size blade like the badger.
Picture the ST-56 handle with a 4.5 inch badger blade. :D
That's my story and I'm sticking to it. :p

Says the man with 1,000,000 (insert Dr. Evil voice) SFNOs, SHSHs, and SHBAs. :D

Sure rub it in for those of us who don't have SFNOs or ST-56s. You're a cruel piglet, so cruel.... :D

How about a scaled down or modified Fusion handle? :p :D

In my best Bruce Willis (Die Hard) voice, "Sorry wrong answer Hans, want to go for double jeopardy"

I no longer have any SFNO's or ST-56's.
Just think they are the correct handle size for a badger.
I also think that they are more comfortable than the TAC handles. :p

Yup, not greatly impressed by the TAC handles. In my opinion, bring back the most comfortable........

STRAIGHT HANDLE ALL THE WAY BABY!!!!

I think the handle shape on the Mini EU-17 and ST Ripper is by far the most versatile. Add a Mag option and a more pronounced skullcrusher and a second/lanyard hole and it's perfect for almost any use on a knife in this size range.

My $.02.;)

This one is my favorite, picked it up from walkingman:thumbup:

jwdlm: Sweet handle on that. What kind of finish is that? BB? DCBB?

I have been thinking about putting new scales on mine. I wish I could find the "Raptor" patter used on some of the Busse ADs.

I just started my Busse addiction last month. I have gotten two SJ tac's, GW, and a BAIII. I think the grip shape and scales on the BAIII are the best of my small, but growing, collection. But I'm new to Busse, so we'll see over time if my opinion changes.

I thought a few months ago there was some question whether the Ergo handled Busse's could be re-fitted with new/different handles. Someone chimed in saying that the CNC program for the Ergo handles was lost. I believe that Garth posted that this was true. Bummer.
