Who Likes Fountain Pens?

Thanks for the tips guys! Will be looking to a Waterman Phineas after I get some Xmas debt paid off.

A general fountain pen question: do most of the caps screw on or just snap on?
 
Most of them snap on. I am pretty sure the Phileas does. I had one, but it was in a severe car wreck with me some time back. I obviously survived; It didn't.

The Phileas is a nice enough pen for the money, and a good choice for your first fountain pen.
 
Yes; a lot of them do snap on/off. All modern Waterman's do. However it does depend on the pen/company, so to be on the safe side if you are not sure about a pen try unscrewing it first. This way you will not strip the threads by trying to pull off a cap that unscrews.
