Got some nice stag scales at Blade and decided to use them on this big folder for Blade West.Knife is my large Banshee folder with a 5 inch blade of 3/16 inch thick S30V.Pictured next to a large Sebenza for scale.

Thanks bud, you pulling my leg?:D Antler from a type of deer I believe from India actually called a Stag.This type of deer antler is known for its great deep texture and coloring for use in knife handles, pistol grips and Iam sure many other things.

I once got all excited and told a friend at work (non-knife person),

"I just LOOOVE Stag... !!!"

Her response was (in all seriousness),"Who's this stag person... Does your wife know ?"

Stag has its moments. I guess this is one of those moments. Pleasing to the eye.

Great looking knife! Stag used to be as common as Tupperware. I know, because I got invited to a "stag party" once! There wasn't no one selling deer antler there that I could tell:confused:
 
Buzzz.... wrong answer, I think.
Sambar Stag is the most desired kind of antler and it is from India.
Other Antler is just called Stag.
