Who likes the Kersaw Knockout

Just looking for some feed back on the knockout. For some reason I really like the design; much more than the blur. I was hoping that Kershaw would make this knife in s30v some day. Any thoughts out there

The Knockout is a great knife, and in my view is about as good as it gets for an EDC knife. It has great hand feel for a thin knife, and a useful blade profile with good belly. But since a knife spends 97% of its day in your pocket, the Knockout also excels at being super thin and unobtrusive, and I love the deep clip. Love the assisted deployment. The only thing lacking is traction for extraction (I did not steal that phrase from Nutnfancy, despite how it sounds), which is remedied with the application of grip tape.

It's a bit on the bulky side for me, but it's a good slicer and actually not very heavy considering it's size. I think 14C28N is a really underrated steel, but you can get it in ELMAX as well, and personally, I prefer ELMAX to S30V anyways. If you want something similar and really want S30V, maybe take a look at the Camber.

I love my knockout, absolutely great for EDC. Thin, lite, very easy to carry, great blade shape, feels great in the hand. I'm going to order one in elmax but have no problem with current 14C28N.

One of my favorite edc knives. Clean lines.
Lost it at work when the clip snagged and took the knife out of my pocket. I'll always miss it, but I refuse to buy the same knife twice.
Great blade. Perfect weight, size, and pocket friendly thickness.

Just disappears in pocket. Probably why I didn't notice it was gone :p

I have the brown/elmax Knockout.
The blade is lovely..the Elmax is super high quality.
The Speedsafe flip action is smooth and fast with a rock hard lockup. Overall a great edc for the price, especially if you have larger hands.

Couple drawbacks for me though. The handle doesn't have much grip..I've dropped mine twice at work with gloved hands. The clip is very basic and can be bent if it snags on something.

Again, for the price you won't find many better

I have one, it's OK...slim and a good size blade for the handle size and weight....BUT...traction is horrible and there is zero jimping anywhere on the knife.

Personally, I recommend going for the Launch 1 auto, much easier to deploy and a better steel than the basic Knockout.

The Knockout is a great knife. And as others have mentioned, there is an Elmax version out right now. The knife overall is very thin and carries very well for a knife its size.
