Since these pictures came out a few years ago I have been trying to figure out who made this bowie? Its big, 13" at least. I can't find anything thriugh google or searching here. If you know the company or maker who made this knife please post up. Hell even if its just a prop house job, Im tryint to find specs like blade and overall length, handle size and shape, thickness, etc. Thank you

If you want to buy one that's similar, look into a Cold Steel Natchez Bowie. As far as that Governors blade, I have no idea if it's anything more than a prop.

Not actually looking to buy one. Im looking for specs so I can forge on out. And just so I know where it came from for curiosity sake.

Looks like something Gil Hibben would have made actually, but it does look closer to the Natchez Bowie.

Nooice!

I'll bet he also gets a pimped jarbenza

Nooice! (I'm nooicing your nooice!)

He does get a pimped Jarbenza actually. It's used for the blood ritual that completes his transformation to Super Mod (this is Bladeforums, after all). After that the Jarbenza is sort of coded to his DNA, he's the only one that can use it.

And don't forget - 3rd level Jedi mystic mind control.... We gotta watch that guy now....

Hahahahaha!!!!!!!

Lol, ok you win. I can't top that one:p

So what was this thread about? :D

We should be we can't. We can only see him out of our peripheral vision. When we actually turn to look he's already... gone.

But fear not.

Wherever there are forum rule breakers. Whenever an infraction needs to be handed down with swift (although fair) justice. Whenever a forumite attempts to accost a brother (rare because we're so awesome here.) Whenever there are members in need of help. Members in need of guidance. Members that need to be saved from their own stupidity. That's where you'll find him. That's where you'll find the Super Mod.

We may never say thanks.

And we'll never have to.

S*** just got real :p

That isn't even the half of it. How are the special Jarbenzas made, you ask? Well pull up a stool.

Spark himself breathes life into them. Whenever a new Super Mod is about to be chosen, Spark uses all of his Powers of Ownership to imbue the Jarbenza with a little bit of his own essence. This gives each knife a little extra zing and pep. A bit of a... spark, if you will. He has to do this while hopping on one leg, turning counterclockwise 3 times and chanting the special spell (Hatas Gonna Hate, Hatas Gonna Hate, Hatas Gonna Hate) but it is worth it.

Once done, it is more than a simple Jarbenza. It is more than a knife. A knife can rust. A knife can be dulled. A knife can be broken, a knife can be taken. But a symbol, a symbol cannot be defeated. And the Super Mod Jarbenzas are just that. They're a symbol of the mighty power of the Super Mods. These symbols, and the Super Mods themselves, are what gives Bladeforums hope for the future, and the knowledge that its members are protected by the best of the best.

Of course, once a Super Mod retires, they take their Jarbenza symbol with them. Then they become a Legend.
