Do you think after about thirty or so job interviews all followed by, "Sorry, but we just don't seem to have work for you here," this guy will realize what a douche-bag he is??? :confused: :eek: :confused:

There's a kid in the welding program that's about half as bad as the joker in that photo, and I told him the other day he'll never be anyone's boss. ;) :p
 
Nick, let me guess the kid's response:

He starts to angrily turn around while saying, "Who do you think...I'm gonna kick your...." and then he notices you carrying a 350lb anvil under your left arm while you pick up and place the oxy/acetyl rig on the shop table with your right arm all while chewing on the end of a welding rod. Then he just quietly turns back to his work....

I believe that the picture may have left out at least on additional piercing. I would bet that if we rotated the picture we could find one somewhere on the lower back of his head, that was probably his first and the others came later as there was not much left to drain. Either that or he made the mistake of sleeping without his tinfoil hat and the aliens did unspeakable thing to him. Don't know, just sayin......

Is this the kid in your welding program? Actually I received an email with about 10 photos and the title was
"Why can't I get a job?"

Most smiths and welders have had enough metal stuck in them by accident to have any put in on purpose. At least that's my excuse for not being an "individual".

But, I think part of the problem is that our generation set the bar to high. When I was young, a kid rebeled and his parents knew it was time to throw him out of the house with long hair and maybe a pierced ear. Now days parents wouldn't even notice that. What will these guys kids have to do to get noticed?

For the life of me, I CAN NOT understand why any of these folks would deface themselves so. Some of them are really SICK. What has this world come to that this happens?
