The only stamp on it is "Belgium" It holds a really good edge, and I've cut down some thick saplings with it. I've used it a lot and only managed to put 2 chips in it

Looks like it may possibly be made by Sheffield. Rivets look VERY similar to thier other products. If not, then i am going with Belgians as well.
Perhaps Martin Manufacturing? Does it look like this?

Am I seeing that correctly, there is no edge on the last 5-6" near the handle? I guess that makes some sense, even though I like having as much edge as possible. How thick is that machete? It looks stout, very similar to the Ontarios, and others.
