That is a slip joint. The OP wants a knife where the handle is milled from one solid piece of Ti or Aluminum.Manly Wasp, Folder, CPM S90V steel treated to 62 HRC, 2.8" blade

Hi.Never mind.
Thought it was a thread about a fixed knife.
I never quite got the calling a folding knife 'integral,' nor who fielded that one/where it originated.
Seems an oxymoron.
Hi.
I believe it was Chris Reeve who created what we call the frame lock (based on the Walker liner lock), but he called it the 'integral lock', as the lockbar is the handle scale itself.

An “integral folder” in modern parlence is one where the handle rather than being two pieces of titanium held together by backspacer or standoffs; is one solid piece of Ti with a slot cut into it for the blade to go into.
So there is no way to disassemble the knife other than taking the pivot out and pulling the blade out.
....but then I balk at calling a knife a titanium knife, when they have a steel blade.
Part of the package deal of having actual titanium knives, I guess.
Still doesnt make any sense in regards to the actual integral knife linked to above.
You already mentioned something to that effect. The handle is what is integral. As in it is all one piece. People need to specify when they say integral knife if they mean integral fixed or integral folder.
Yes, as already stated in the post directly above ypur postLooking for a knife not a bunch of off topic jargon that has nothing to do with an integral folder with a blade of 3 inches or less. Thanks
