As the title says . . .
I know it is a bit early to be thinking about Christmas (still eating Thanks Giving left overs) but I'm anxious to get studying / enjoying these and will probably buy one soon.

I realize Case makes some and have been looking at those.
I did search here but didn't come up with much. Links would be much appreciated; lots of photos is a must !

My first choice would be some where along the lines of a Canoe pattern (preferably with a single blade). Or a Trapper (just fill in "single blade" in the rest of my examples . . . yes I know I am dreaming). The Slimline Trapper is pretty darn cool but larger handles give a little more stage room for decoration.

I have many Stockmans and is not my favorite pattern so probably wouldn't buy one but would enjoy seeing yours !

I have no Canoe pattern knives so that is another reason to get one, even a two blade .
Mostly I am going for a Christmasy handle but as long as it has that I don't mind some blade decoration. This is going to be a knife to carry during the holidays, obviously, but I will use it to. Heck . . . up to four inch blade length is OK with me; got to slice all those Christmas goodies.

Case has made some, but if you really want to live dangerously look and find a Christmas Tree celluloid scaled knife.

I always carry a slimline trapper during Christmas.

This one is the most recent (GEC #48) and easy to find.

Here's my Christmas knife. A Christmas gift from my wife a few years ago. Canal Street "Pinch", D2 and acrylic. A wonderful knife I should carry more often.
I'm not sure how hard they are to find but I do see some on the auction sites, although I haven't seen this particular cover lately.

Post of the week??? I think so, that was brilliant.
Certainly easy to sharpen.
I wonder if someone is working on saliva sharpenable S110V(CC).
Just licking it clean strops it to.
Wiping it under your arm puts that final tree topping edge on it.
Completely impervious to any other liquids !

Thanks for the others too people.

Now I gotta go and dig out my 100 year anniversary Christmas Tree celluloid mini gunstock. I’ll be right back.

In the sober light of day I am leaning toward a Case Red Bone Trapper in CV.
Yeah I know what I said "SS is the way to go for a Christmas knife" but I have always wanted one but thought it was a bit bright to EDC. Two birds with one stone; I get the CV and a bright but not too gawdy knife for Xmas that I can still EDC during the year when I'm in the mood for something "different / bright"
Besides, I've never tried that Bartender's Friend stuff. That's what I want to keep the plain high carbon bright . . . yes ?

You know after nearly 40 years collectin’ knives it was bound to happen. Somewhere I wound up with a few Christmas themed knives.

A real Christmas knife, it came in a tin with Santa on it and a Xmas shied in the Xmas Red Jigged bone scales. I lost the shield in the first month or so and replaced it with an ivory shield made from a piano key.

I've always thought I would like a Gunstock pattern but don't have one yet.
Yep that's looking festive.
Is the Santa Box knife a Peanut pattern?
End of days huh ? Still . . . it's festive.

Yes ! Thank you.
I found a good price on the Red Bone CV Trapper (well . . . a "normal" price). I have been paying around 40 or $50 for basic new Case Trappers. Then the price in the store which I won't mention (against the rules) had them for $66 + just because they were calling them "CassXX". Just by chance I saw a clickable button next to another knife with out the XX and bingo ! A decent price and I pounced.
