The Thing can use a knife too, you know.Why would you want a handle made of D2? Abrasion resistence is it's claim to fame... are your hands made of abrasives?
Even though we know that someone has done it, my question still stands...All D2 7"x1/4" blade.

I just realized that I am still a steel snob... I thought I was passed this point by now...I'm on the books for a DDR custom AAM balisong. I'm the only guy who wants steel handles. Spoke to his son and they're gonna use CPM154 for blade and milled channel handles. It's just what they happened to have on hand in the dimensions necessary.
