Okay, my Case Stockman and Queen Sodbuster came in today. Now, I'd love to just throw it in my pocket, but way to much stuff in there that will gouge the handles. Anyone make a pouch similar to what Spyderco uses as carrying cases for their pocket sharpening stones (some sorta slip pouch)?
Thanks!

And a third to Ron. A.G. Russell also sells some slip pouches. Chris Reeve pocket pouches are another nice choice. I have all three and they are all good.

Paul Long or Gary Graley leather on a sodbuster just evokes the image of putting lipstick on a pig! :p

Maybe if his sodbuster had scrimshawed pre-ban ivory handles and file work on the backspring and blade we could point him to one of those gentlemen. Since it's just a plain sodbuster, a simple knife purse should do the trick. ;)

I carry my slipjoints that measure up to 3 1/2" closed in a small A.G. Russell leather knife pouch. Very well made pouch for about $10 shipped to your door. I don't tuck the tab part into the the restraining strap so I can instead grab it from there when pulling it out and pull out the knife. Works well.

Case sells black suede slippy pouches with a Velcro closure. I bought a few when I was at a Case Outlet in Virginia for about $2.99 ea. They're made out of real suede not fabric.

If you Google "case suede knife pouch" you'll find them, they come in small or large. I bought them individually, but I see on the web you can get them in 5 packs.

Ron Ryder would be my choice as well. I've bought about 10 pouches from him for one reason or another.

I just use a simple pocket sheath like these ( made from some scraps I had laying around ).
