Hi, I just have a need to know who makes this particular model. Someone wants to trade me and I'd like to know what it looks like first. Thanks a lot.

I think it is a Chinese or Taiwan knockoff of a Colt auto. Maybe there is one on bladeauction you could look at, there usually are a few up there.

I'm moving this thread to the Automatic Knives Forum where people who know their switchblades are more likely to see this.

The top post indicates an Ohio address. I don't know Ohio law, but it should be noted that any imported switchblade is contraband in the USA, and people who trade in them on the Net, out in front of God and the Feds and everybody, are known as "bold and fearless" . . . or something.

As I understand the ground rules in the Autos forum, "What does such and such an import look like?" or "How well does it perform?" are kosher, but conspiracy to do illegal stuff, like "Joe Blow, a US resident, is selling Chinese switchblades cheap," or "How can I get a classic Italian stilletto past customs?" will get a thread there zapped.
