Looking for the top of the line. 8". I like bader a lot from the looks and videos (never used) but the extra $120 for the bearings and bar seems outrageous when their wheels are already higher than normal. I've used beaumonts and not terribly impressed with their fit and finish these days, I like the idea of sunray but paying extra to have them dished out and balanced seems wonky.

Love any other suggestions!?

Appreciate your time chaps

I bought an 8" wheel from Beaumont Metal Works and have been very impressed with it. I can't really speak for their current quality, however. I also had a 6" wheel made by CRC (contact rubber corp) for my surface grinder, and was very happy with it as well.

I have 5 Beaumont contact wheels and 2 Bader contact wheels and I believe Bader wheels are the best quality and worth the extra money. Just my opinion. Larry

Gah afraid that was the case. Bader 8" wheel is $290 plus the $120 bearing and mounting rod. $410 plus shipping is more than a 14" wheel from Beaumont. =(

Count, they make the wheels, but they are covered by CRC , if memory serves.
