Who makes the BEST multitool?

I'm a big wave fan , it's what i would carry if I didn't have a Spirit .

Chris

I used to have a wave and loved it.

Now have a Surge, fair bit bigger, but even better if you don't mind the heavy weight.

I have both a SOG and a Gerber.
I prefer the SOG, built like a tank. Granted the scissors are crap but i have not much need for scissors anyway, and the things that i would need a pair for i can also do with a knife.
The pliers are(for me) the utmost important tool in a multi-tool and the sog pliers are great.
The other implements are good too, even the handle covers if you get used to it.

Crowsniper, contact me on a partial trade on the Busse BaTac. I also have a custom leather sheath and the original leather sheath and all accesories

I love my SOG Powerlock too. It's big, heavy and was expensive, but it's
a Great tool. The black finish has remained unharmed from use. I agree the
scissors are nothing much but I find everything else usefull, and easy to use,
and they lock open perfectly. I'd definitely buy another.

I think for fit and finish the Victorinox SwissTool and Swiss Spirit are the finest. I do find their steel mix to be a little soft - so you tend to bang up the screwdriver heads and the knives are similar to the ones used in their SAK line, so they dull a little quicker than I would like them to. Also - the pliers are blunt nose, so they are not the best for fine detail work.

I own several Leatherman MT's, and my current fav is my LM Charge AL with 154CM blade. Great size, the knife holds a good edge, and it comes with a pocket clip that can be removed when desired. LM also uses bushings n newer models so the opening and closing is better.
