who makes the best small fixed blade knives?

Beckers and ESEEs are always a good investment.ESEE and Becker have a collaberation, where they took a Becker Necker blade and mated it with an Izula handle. It looks really promising, you should check it out.

No bottle opener? :D

Izula or the BRKT Bravo Necker. I prefer the bravo because of the convex grind.

just to mix things up I'll suggest the buck 102. Scaled down 119 beautiful little knife.

Mix it up a little more, Benchmade Pardue Rant ($50) 440C

Just got one. For a medium fixed blade, working out real good. Sheath is marginal, but for the $ ... :)

Scrap Yard knives, Yard Keeper . 78$ two years ago. Dont know about this years price.

Becker Necker is a great little knife. The Boker Krein Pocket Bowie should be a great choice, and at under 30 bucks is even better.

I have one on order so have not actually handled it yet, but if the quality is the same as the Boker Gnome then it is going to be a steal of a knife.

I suspect the Izula would be an awesome choice as well.

+1 On the Boker/Krein Pocket Bowie. A great little (OAL-5 3/4") knife in 440C with G10 scales. Has a very nice fit & finish, and is an amazing bargain for $26 bucks.

my bad. I meant blade length not overall length. And are ontario good? Cuz I see posts about rat knives all the time

What is the sheath in the photo?

I had it made by Eric at On/Scene Tactical. I'm not sure if he is making these anymore b/c the last email I sent him was never returned. He did great work though and it cost me about $30.

4-5" blade isn't exactly a "small" fixed blade haha - I say SRKW RMD (not sure of the blade length but it's my fav mid-sized fixed blade)

so I'm actually asking for a medium fixed blade? I figured it was small lol. I always figured fixed blades were normally huge. So how small is small anyway? And I think I'm sold on esee. I took a look and they are amazing looking and if they are of the wuality everybody says they must be a winner

I consider any knife <7.5 inches overall to be a small, because that is pocketable size... once you get into the 8-10 inchers, that's med... to me... everyone is different.

ESEE is a great company with a great warranty, you wont be disappointed.

Get the BK 14
They are out and now for sale.
You get the best of both worlds. The Izula handle and the BK 11 blade.
