Who makes the traditional firesteels for striking flint ?

i got some from a guy in Oregon white hot forge or something on ebay. good stuff. but most blacksmiths can make you one. check ebay or something.

Who makes the traditional firesteels for striking flint ?

Technically speaking, it's the flint that strikes the steel. Being harder than the steel, the flint shaves off bits of the steel which ignite (making the sparks) when suddenly exposed to oxygen.
