Who makes your favorite linerlock?

Emerson. Specifically the Horseman.

I like liner locks. I'm not opposed to frame locks, at least when they are all titanium. (When one side is something else, it looks a little like a scale fell off to accidentally reveal the working parts underneath.) Having two nice pieces of wood or Micarta can be very comfortable when done well.

Another thing I kind of like, especially on budget knives, is being able to easily modify things. G-10, Micarta, and FRN can all be sanded to different grits. If the top of a lock bar is a little sharp, filing it doesn't always show as much as on frame locks with particular finishes. I mean, it would be ideal if I never felt the need to change things on production knives but sometimes, it can be the difference between keep and pass, or good and great.

Picking a favorite would be tough since there are lots that I love. By the numbers, Kizer would take second place behind WE and their sub-brands.

i sold all my liner locks, i just dont trust the liner lock as much as the backlock, however the one that i felt was the highest quality and most reliable was the spyderco military

I'm embarrassed how long it took me to realize the HK was just a picture.
sailfish sailfish Man, you have no idea how long I’m hunting that knife from the picture…
‘I got the Snody version which I absolutely love, but the HK Benchmade with Axis is something that everybody are holding on to and rarely sell. It is a knife that makes you throw all your other knives in the drawer and hardly open it 😄

of the liner locks I own my Shiro f3s, 111, Microtech and I guess my new Tactile Thumbstud

Kinda late to the party but my two favorites are my Rogers OEM Slim Utility and my Real Steel Rokot. Got away from liner locks for a long time for no particular reason and these two have made me want more. Keeping an eye out for a Vero Axon (maybe mini?) because I've also really enjoyed the Neuron lately. Still haven't tried the TRM Atom either.

I forgot about my Southern Grind Bad Monkey. Basically a fancy Emerson. The liner lock performs well on it.
