Who Makes Your Favorite Serrations?

Spyderco. Serrated blades actually excel at some cutting tasks. I normally rock with a P/E but own a few S/Es.

I am curious how many people that say VEFF serrations have actually used them...

I have had a couple knives from CRKT and one that Tom actually put the serrations on and all of them have had the teeth either chip or break.
 
Everyone saying Spyderco: Don't all the factories produce different variations? Last I checked the Golden, CO models serrations were quite different from Seki City

Edit: That said, the fact that they often give the option for FULLY serrated inarguably makes them better than most only offering combo. Only having one to one and a half inches of serrated really doesn't give the great PULL CUT advantage serrations offer, since you quickly are onto the plain edge.

IMO something like the Military fully serrated gives the best platform for a serrated blade for all around use. A metric boatload of Serrations and still A sizable portion at the tip of plain edge.

Really surprised to be seeing crkt getting so much attention in this thread, not usually the case on these forums.
I have limited experience with different kinds of serrations as I avoid them like the plague, but the serrations on my victorinox OHT are the best I have used, they are even and consistent without being too deep to catch on material. They are fairly easy to resharpen as far as serrations go.
 
I avoid serrations like the plague - my daily tasks wouldn't be aided by them, and they only make it harder to sharpen my knives. That said, I've always ben fond of how CRKT's Veff serrations look, and I'm glad to see many others on this thread agree. I've also heard nothing but good things about Spyderco's serrations; the edges on the Civilian and Matriarch are nothing short of terrifying. If I had a mind to carry a knife exclusively for "tactical" purposes, one of those would definitely be in my pocket.
