Yep - this was my first time out, though I can't claim the deer was "mine" as Dan's brother Eric shot this doe.

Great time, though. I hope they'll have me back next year.

That's funny, he sent me the picture in his fresh deer hide loincloth...... covered in blood with the buckeyes in his hands and Roger's knife in his teeth.

i got this picture too.... i havent been able to sleep since that day.

i can almost smell the peppermint schnaps and jergins lotion.

why does dan invite this guy out into the woods? in hopes of losing him there?
 
It's not the underarmour shirt that should be disconcerting, but the hat hair - eeks! What the hell is with the part down middle!?!?!??

Besides, I wasn't naked... just my skivvies. Got too hot coming up the hill, stripped down to dry off, then added a couple layers. It was beautiful out there, but chilly!
 
roger i'm glad to see you yankees wearing surgical gloves
we started doing so in texas some yrs. back. rare but weird diseases have even gotten into our deer down here also.your knives have a very clean appearance. dan farr is a legend in the forged blade-- you are in great company.
