What is your occupation or field?

I've often wondered what the cross section was here.

I work for a large credit card company in Relationship Management.

Contract negotiations, inventory management, issue resolution, liaison functions.

Zero chance to use my Busse's at work dammit... (except maybe issue resolution...)

Mike

Well, I am a law student but also an avid backpacker. No need for a Busse in class (it would be illegal) but I've used my Basic 9 on long distance hikes frequently.

I work for a computer repair company.

Presently owned Busse's:
Assault Shaker
Basic 9, smooth coat
Basic 9, crinkle coat
Basic 3, crinkle coat

I'm sure we'll all have a Busse to carry at work as soon as Jerry puts the folder into production.

Frank

I got three jobs mon I am a sheath maker
a concrete cleaner
& a customer consultant also
so I guess this Busse owner is a workaholic?
Oh & I carry a busse everyday around my neck until I can carry the folder in my pocket:D

I'm a firefighter. Carry my Basic 3 in my turnout coat. There's a lot of focus these days on rescuing firefighters who are trapped, I figure a nuke powered knife is just the ticket.

Electrical Engineer, also picked up an MBA. Former Manager of Metering Services for Alabama Power Company. In the right place at the right time for a management forces reduction buyout last spring, so find myself retired at age 55.

I am the Manager of Information Systems for a manufacturing company. Some of the time release safes you see in places like Taco Bell, Macdonald's, Wendy's, BP/Amoco etc. are one of our products, and the other is fireproof filing cabinets, called Turtles in Office Depot stores, and a high end commercial version in banks and businesses. I tend to use a knife for various light jobs, and most of the office knows I always have one so they come see me if they need to borrow one.

I am a nursery manager that oversees the production of trees, shrubs, etc.
Among the many things we grow there are obviously some things that just get too tired of growing. Apparently, they would rather die so that I may have the pleasure of taking out a Busse and punishing them for not surviving so that we can profit from them.

I like my job:)
I like my Busses:D
I think my Busses have made my job more likable:cool:

Trees and Busses, what more could you ask for?

(well, other than a cute UPS driver to bring them Busses:D)

Yours in woody species,
Kev

Ya know Kevin, there is almost something that would win the Best Nuclear sign-off:

Yours in Nuclear Wood,

:D ROFLMAO :D

Mike

Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator:D

Yeah, I know, it's a ****** job, but somebody has to do it!!

Machine maintenance, punch press supervisor and sometimes setup presses, safety manager, and do all electrical repairs and hookups for a seal company. In my spare time I also run a lathe to do tool and die repair.

John

A Calif. Sheriff's Depatment SWAT team Commander. Got my Busse from Andre (West Coast Distributor), just in case the vermin overrun my dangerous positon at the Command Post. ;)

Hey, Frank, you're in San Jose, too?

I'm a program interface designer, so no real call for a Busse at work. Weekends are for hiking and camping, though :)

Most people get into the real world and buy cars, stereos, and big TV's...I bought Busses :D

Hi neighbor! Yeah, I'm a native San Josean. Live by Oakridge.
I don't have a big need for my Busse either, but they sure do look cool, and stay sharp! And, unlike the big tv's, cars, and stereos I've owned, my Busse never seem to break!

Take care.:)

Director of IT for a division of a major financial services company (hint: Don't leave home without it...)Obviously a Busse wouldn't fit in too well at the office. However, I spend a lot of time hiking, shooting, and photographing wildlife outside of work. That's where the fun comes in...

Got my first Busse as a present from my wife about six months ago. Now I have five.

I can stop anytime I want...

Sierra1, our companies are competators of sorts.

Hint: For the slightly smarter consumer....
