Who Owns a Busse??

I'm a lawyer. I recently picked up a Badger Attack E and a Battle Mistress E from Andre. Hopefully, I'll soon pick up a Satin Jack.;)

I'm an Army colonel and a physician at Fort Knox, KY. My last passion was riding motorcycles, until I broke my back in 6 places riding my Suzuki GSX R-1000 at a track day in April 01. Now my passion is knives, and I sit around staring out the window with a blank look on my face as I shave my arms (and legs, and chest...) with my brand new, long time coming LE Battle Mistress. My wife ordered it almost 3 years ago, but it got delayed due to Jerry's accident. It's awesome, and so is Jerry and his company. I really wanted a BA and a Mr. Mojo... couldn't believe they retired them right after I got my first Busse! Maybe Andre can help me out. Looking forward to meeting Eric Isaacson, and any other Busse owners in the Louisville area. Maybe going to Knob Creek? Watch your six.

Welcome to this Busse Forum, glad you made it over from the "other" one. ;):D

I'm also looking forward to meeting you, there is at least one other Busse Nut in our neck of the woods and a couple in Southern Indiana.

Off-line correspondence sent :D:D

:D I'm near Corbin, which is near London. Good to have you over here John! You've got a very impressive resume :) .

Thanks, Andrew, but I don't have a very large collection of Busses yet! Hope to remedy that deficiency soon. John

what is it about KY and INFI?? You know in these parts we put flouride in the water but I guess in KY they put INFI in their water. You guys must have some strong teeth!! let's see those Nuclear whites :D :D from the KY crowd.

:D :D :D :D :D

Contrary to how we are portrayed in the news media most of the time, we do wear shoes, not all of us have the same last name, the whole state isn't on welfare, and we speak pretty decent English.

Obviously we know good knives when we see them....

I chacked the forums here for the first time since I left home and saw this thread so I thought I would reply. I have had about twenty minutes a week of net time so my reading has ben limited to email and the Bussecombat.com forum.

I'm currently in Camp Doha, Kuwait recovering from a short trip to the "sandbox" for "Operation Enduring Fredom"

I am an 11B Squad Leader a.k.a. a "GRUNT

I have with me my trusty

Natural Outlaw and my 4" Euro Satin Jack

At home I have my

Basic #3
Assault Shaker
Zero Tolerance Natural Outlaw.

Should be home sometime this month :D :D

Yours in Nuclear Deployments,

Nick

Glad you could join us.
Keep your head down and get back here in one peice.
And Thanks, be sure to tell your Buddies Thanks too.

Good Luck.

1 whobuys and I have something in common, Golf Courses.
I work at Wente Vineyards "the course" as a greens keeper.
I am about to start school to become a golf course superintendent.
The golf channel is comming out to film us on the 12th so maybe I'll be on T.V. swinging a Busse at a downed chunk of wood:D

My Busses include,
2 Straight Handled Battle Mistresses
E-handled Steel Heart&
Satin Jack all in combat grade.
I am about to pick up a straight handled steel heart, but want to see what Jerry makes for his 10/20 year knives, first. Don't know if I can hold out.:D

Nick,

Thanks for your service! It is the sacrifice and commitment of men like you that protects the freedoms that make our country great and that we all hold so dear. Stand assured that your countrymen back home respect and appreciate what you do. As General Patton once said "don't die for your country, make the other S.O.B. die for his!"

We look forward to hearing from you here on the Busse forum when you get state side again.

I work for the local community land trust, trying to buy up nice property before the Evil Resort Developers(tm) do. I often carry a Busse in the field to make a wee trail to gain access to the undeveloped parcels. The crunchy-granola types sometimes look a bit pale when I unleash the BM-E.

Busse inventory:

BM-E, SH-E, and a Badger-E
