Rather than having a store order you something, you can buy online and save yourself some dough. Why should a store get a cut of something they're not willing to carry in stock?
It's getting harder and harder to buy any knives at all in stores these days, much less anything decent. I recently moved to Atlanta and I've given up trying to find a good place to buy knives so I buy everything online now, which sucks because you don't get to try anything out before you buy. It seems like gun shops and ranges are the last bastions of retail knifedom. Hardly any sheeple there to get their panties in bunches when they see something sharp.
