Who Said...

Didn't order one per se but I am going to pick up a mnandi when I go out of town. It's Christmas and I am definitely treatying myself.

Redbike, nice little collection. I've been eyeing the red 960 Osborne for a while. Like the thinness, D2 steel, Axis lock, and slick G10/Aluminum handle, but two things are keeping me from owning it:

1) Price, which is now at around $125.
2) The blade grind. I'm a big fan of full flat, or at least high ground clip-point or drop-point blades.

If it goes to under $100 before selling out, could be tempting.

Naw, I was a good boy this year. (I did add $125 worth of upgrades to a Randall I ordered last year, though. Does that count?)

redbike, very cool knives. I happen to find the Grip's cooler than the Osborne, but I'm biased as I have the 555 and want the Orange one.

At the end of December I will get the CQC-13, perhaps in stone washed, then at the beginning of January, a nice CQC-16 'Bushman' will join the fold.

Ordered a Kershaw Speedform, can't wait till Jan. to get it. Also was gifted a Kershaw Centofante with MOP accents and won a Needs Work in G10. A very good knife Christmas indeed:D.

Last one of the year: Spyderco Gayle Bradley - Carbon Fiber - C134CFP
Was just informed it was held up at customs, should be here next week sometime.

There is an excellent online (and brick 'n' mortar) Canadian knife retailer just one province to the west of you. They carry Spyderco's full line-up, including the new Gayle Bradley. So no need to ever worry about customs again. Been there, done that;)! In fact, still there, still doin' that:o... but only for purchases from private U.S. sellers.

To avoid a deal spotting infraction I will not post the name of this store. PM me if you want the info.

what the hey!!... and ordered themselves a new knife for Christmas??

Trying to resist the new CPM M4 mini Ritter Grip offered just three days before Christmas was futile. But it wasn't a gift per se, it just kinda happened to fall around that time.

My real gift to myself is a disco'd Caly 3, and, if I'm a super-duper good boy before the 25th, I just might surprise myself with a Spyderco Hossom Forager or Dayhiker... if only I can figure out how the heck to sharpen recurves.

Nothing crazy, just a VG-10 lum. My birthday in january, thats a different story. Hoping to pick up an HD-7 and BM 530.

I bought myself the RAT Cutlery RAT Pack knife for Christmas. Its under the tree now........ taunting me.

I'm probably going to end up buying a new Busse as well. But every time I'm about to pull the trigger I keep thinking about the big screen HD tv in NEED. Only time will tell.

Since I did not need a user knife, I picked up a Camillus Norman Rockwell Boy Scout tribute knife off of the huge auction site

Vintage Collins machete modded by Fiddleback. That being said, I actually bought it with birthday money from back in November. :p

No purchases but I did trade a BM Rift:

for a Spyderco Endura and Police:

^My first Spydercos. :)
(The Rift was lovely, with an awesome handle but the thing was just a little too big for my hands so I never really used it.)
