This is the result after following his Tutorial on Cutlass Grind for a bowie.
This is the first time I had the courage to try a double full length hollow grind.
Bruce---Maybe you could teach us all a thing or two:D

Ten inch wheel on this grind.
Going to do one with a 6" wheel on the next one, should be pretty radical in 1/4" stock.
Mr Bump,
Quite a compliment coming from you:D Thanks
I was humbled by your work at Blade and I must say it was a pleasure meeting you in person.

Looks like you hit that one on the head. She looks really cool so far.Now I am with Mr.Bump let's see the finished product.

Gold star! Nice looking grind, you must be feeling pretty good about now. :D Congratulations, you got it down. It was Bruce's tutorial that got me over that hump too.

But you realize you've committed yourself to showing the finished knife - and we don't forget...

Bruce Evans has done so much for so many beginning makers - me included! - that it's easy to take it for granted. We don't thank him often enough, and it's great for you bring it up again.

Two gold stars!

Dave

She turned out really Great Bob.
Glad you could use the tutorialn to make such a fine looking Blade.

I am slowly getting into knifemaking as a hobby. Where can I find this or other tutorials,to help with all the little nagging questions that I have? I know experiance is the best teacher, but knowledge is power. I like to research alot before I jump into something new. Sometimes it sucks being a perfectionist:D . Thanks for any help..CLEAVER

Not really...Coated it with "Keepbrite" from MSC and the blade stays clean as a whistle after HT.
Just had to be sure and leave enough room to grind out any HT pitting.
