Who sell O1 cheap?

i working on a tactial fixed blade but i want to know where i can get some cheap O1 1/4" about 3FT?

Check you Yellow Pages, and call around to your local industrial supply companies. I've been buying all of my 01 locally for a good bit cheeper than from the knife companies. -chris

I just bought 25 lbs of O1, Starret tool steel still in the plastic from a scrap yard, $1.00 lb. Check your local scrap yards. I've purchased A2, D2, 01, nickle silver, brass bar stock at a fraction of what you would pay for it new, and the best thing is there is no shipping charges, which can sometimes cost :barf: you as much as half of the items your ordering.
