Who sells best folders hardware?

Guys,

I am about to embark on my first linerlock folder. Can anyone recommend me a supplier of good hardware(pins, screws etc.) and titanium.

Hi Alex, Check out Chuck bybbe at Alpha Knife Supply http://www.alphaknifesupply.com/ or Titanium Joe http://www.titaniumjoe.com/ for Ti . Halpern has some stuff too but it looks as if they're still working on there site http://www.halperntitanium.com/ As for screws pick up 100 of each 1-72 and 2-56 from your favorite supplier. Pivots ? Do you have a lathe ? Get a 3/16" or 1/4" piece of 416 & make your own. If not the supplier you get your screws from may have a couple simple pivots. Get them long and cut to length. Thumb bob & pocket clips are pretty simple to make and look much nicer than the purchased ones whether from Ti, Stainless, Damascus or whatever you choose. make sure you post a pic of that baby when its complete Alex :) :thumbup:

I'd like to put in a plug for Midwest Knifemakers Supply Also. I placed an order with Tracy a couple of weeks ago, and had the goodies in a couple of days. Nothing was missing or backordered (however, items being backordered are rarely the fault of the business owner). So, you might give him a try next time. It seems that I end up using all of them in a years time
