Who should I contact to get a pyroceram??

that guy's great too. i emailed him about the pyroceram and in about 3 or 4 days i had one. very fast shipping. and it came wrapped in lot of bubble wrap

Get back up for a minute.

I'll be emailing you, I hope this weekend. I have a Coote 2 X 72. I'll measure the platen before emailing. I will also ask if it is available in different thicknesses. I would like to have the belt raised enough out of line with the drive wheel to taper tangs without the blade touching the drive wheel. However, that is not why I want to try the pyroceram. The graphite strip I use now does that for me - barely.

rlinger; the only thickness we supply is 1/4in.. I also have mine adjusted just slightly proud of the wheels for the reason you mentioned and it works great.
