...and why have you not forwarded it along to the next person after all this time?

I'm gonna say it again, people need to take responsibility for their part in these passarounds or don't jump in on them.

Time to fess up and make things right, please.

Can I make a suggestion?

How about making it a condition of the passaround that each person post when they are passing it on and to whom?

From my experience you need to allot 9 months for a passaround.

If you have 10 people you got fo figure that around 8 will pass it on within 10 days or so but the other 2 will hold onto it for one or more months;):(

Which plain out sucks. You have a bad taste in your mouth about yours and IMO, you got screwed over. I have a couple knives I was thinking about passing around but I'm worried about this happening. I won't have a problem sending them to a couple guys I know on here but a full-blown passaround? Not too certain.

I agree ,post a list of who was involved in the pass around and each person involved post when received & shipped to next... :grumpy: I hate that this happends.... makes me very reluctant to be apart of passarounds due to this, not that I would not do my part as I shown in the only passaround I was involved in (NWA) but all it takes is one person to not do there part and the thread is ruined and this will make passarounds limited to certain members only(Gold or higher) or a very limited number(like 8 or less):thumbdn:

I know there is a bit of resistance to making passaround threads sticky but IMO if they are kept at the top of the page the person is much more likely to be "reminded" they have the item.;)

Hi Guys-

I'm truly sorry to those involved, this was my fault for not staying on top of things during my semester. Between emails and PMs I lost track of who was last. I'm sure we'll get it sorted out shortly. It would be a strong recommendation to those doing this in the future to send a list along with the item(s) that includes the addresses in order of the passaround members.

I've got some more exams that I need to focus on, but I will track it down post haste.

I know I talked with Esav a while back when he had it, and then he was sending it on to RescueRiley. That's the last I heard of it.

HD, too many stickies doesn't work. I wish we could do it.

Try this, make A Passaround Sticky thread. Then in the first post list ALL the different passaround threads. I did this with Yangdu's Nepal photo threads in the HI Cantina. It keeps them all in one place and can be modified as passarounds are completed. Makes it easier to keep track of threads in a hi turnover forum.

Oh Riley's definitely a trouble maker, that guys always throwing a wrench in the works. ;) That esav is a bad influence on him.

Ted, excellent idea, thank you!
