I recently traded for a left handed large Sebenza and I am right handed. The previous owner was also right handed but used this knife for "weak side" defensive carry.

Any other righty's carrying lefty's?

I'm a lefty carrying a lefty. I thought about carrying a knife on my weakside but I went witha neck knife instead, namely an Emerson LaGriffe. I may also have righty Tek-Lok sheath made for it should I decide to carryit on the belt.

I'm a lefty, and carry right handed knifes because decorated, or woodie left handed Reeve knives are a hard find. I've got a small, classic, decorated Sebenza on order though.

Is your new lefty decorated or a woodie?

Nope, its a large plain. My first Sebenza actually. I have a post in the trade forum to see if anyone wants to swap for a righty, but I haven't had any bites. I'm thinking I will have to adjust to using the lefty.

I have two lefties and another 2 on order (but dont tell my wife)

Being a true lefthanded knife is one of the things I love about Sebenza's.

I can open both single and double studed lefties right handed if needed but closing them again oner handed is a bit more dodgy :D

I'm a lefty who uses the large and small lefties as "working knives." My EDC is a righty Mnandi, with that knife it doesn't seem to make much of a difference since the pads/nicks are ambi anyway.

I'm a lefty with quite a collection of small left hand Sebenzas, a plain umfaan and an African Blackwood Mnandi. My current favorite is my silver contrast stars and stripes with silver thumblugs and silver backspacer. The Mnandi works its way into the rotation every once and a while. :D ;) :p

Scott Dog, how did you come by the lefty Reeve knives? Were they all custom ordered from Reeve?

Does anyone know what percentage of Reeve's production if left-handed?

jazz1 - the only figures I have is that 5 of each of the 60 wood inlays are lefthanded ones.

I have had to order all my lefties from CRK and it seems to take ages even for fairly normal ones :(

Never mind they are worth the wait when you get them :)

Jazz1:
I get most of mine from CRK. I've gotten a couple from Chris at shows. True North Knives has a large left hand Sebenza. I've also got a couple from my local B and M Plaza Cutlery in Costa Mesa, California.

Since we are talking left handed knives here, I just learned that Scott Cook is thinking about producing a lefty Lochsa. Let him know if you are interested. I just picked up a right hand one. Very nice, but it would be even better in a lefty:D

Jazz1:

I talked to Scott Cook in Vegas. That Lochsa is one sweet knife. I gave him my name and e-mail address and he put me on his left hand list. I try not to think about it, it makes the time go so slow. The Lochsa is on my list of must haves!:D  ;) :p

I forgot to mention he is also going to produce a smaller version. Now I have to by two left handers.
