Who uses their EDCs to cut their food at dinner?

Those mini cutting boards sound like a great idea! How big are they? I’ve got a couple of cutting boards lying around that I don’t use, so I might try sawing them down to a small plate size. :)

You guys may not be married or maybe your balls are bigger than mine, but when my wife shoots me "THE LOOK" I notice. I have never taken my blade out in a restaurant since.

Man, my wife loved me for the look of her aunt, as she saw my knife in action (Picknick) first time.:D

I would consider knife use in a restaurant in relation to the habbits there. Say, eating with anything else than your hands at McD would be a bit strange. Wouldn´t it? But i have seen guys, cutting the burgers for their kids with edc knives. Why not? I would do the same.

In a five star restaurant, any dull knife will be replaced with a better one at demand. So, not there.

The cutting boards made from wood are pretty common. We always have dinner with these. Maybe just because i can use my knife then, but they are easy to use, easy to clean and better than any porcellan or keramics.

Brotzeit is pretty common in south germany. Anything has to be cut be the eater himself into pleasing pieces.

I was also raised in Germany so individual wooden cutting boards were the rule for all meals except on Sunday.
