So the Becker nuts have the BeckerHeads, the Spyderco nuts have the SpyderNation, and KAI fans had the Order of Kai. :)

But what about CRK?

Would you all be interested in a CRK appreciation club? I know I would.

Other groups have had requirements like these:

Own at least one CRK.
Make XX number of posts in the CRK subforum.
Start X number of threads in the CRK subforum.
Have at least XXX number of posts on BladeForums.

We could use all or some of those reqs., unless you guys have ideas for other reqs.

What do you think?

This Forum is the appreciation club, it works well. Never seen a single spat here. This is where I hang out most besides, maintenance and knife makers area.
I do not think we need to do anything different. My CRK is my favorite, but I am not interested in an "Order of CRK" club. Why does everything have to get all complicated.
Unless I am just being grumpy this morning. :D

Spent many good years as a member of the RKS( Randall Knife Society), and met some great guys. That having been said it was before the internet got going, and now with this forum it's info and exchange real time! Bart

I don't have a CRK (to rich for my blood) but I think It's a great idea! I've bought some Micarta scales, bk15, bk-9, and a bk14 all because of the Beckerheads. The BK&T sub-forum is 10X as active as the KA-BAR forum.

Go for it!

I can't launch a pole because I'm just a Basic member, so if one of you Gold+ guys wants to create a pole (for/against a CRK fan club), that would be great.

I'm a basic member. You can create a poll. Read the FAQ and look for the options when you make a new post.

I don't join any, and think the whole club thing is a bit silly myself.
I am an old fart though :p

I would rather see a CRK sponsored group, kind of like the BCCI for Buck. Then we could get special articles, promotions, pricing, etc.. I would be willing to pay a lifetime sponsorship fee for something like that.

I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member.

Groucho Marx

Leave it to Groucho and thank to you for shareing it. I joined the Navy in 68 and they had a lot of regs. I'll stay with this but thanks for the thread and poll.

I will say I've enjoyed my time on the forum better since getting into CRK and coming over to this forum. Don't see much, if any, sparring here and almost see this forum as the "adult's table" of BF. :)
